St. Barth’s in the summer? Some people are vehemently against going to St. Barth’s during the off-season. Yes, it is nice walk around a snowstorm with a tan, but if you’re not a member of the jetset or a celebrity or a socialite, the “job descriptions” of which require you to be at the It places at the It times, you may want to take advantage of all St. Barths has to offer during the off-season. The island is, of course, just as beautiful at all times of year. Here are your reasons to get to St. Barth’s in the off season:
1. Of course, you already knew that hotels would be less expensive, but I’m sure you had no idea by how much. During the season, a junior suite at Hotel Le Toiny ranges from 1500 Euro to 1800 Euro per night. In the off season? 520 Euro. That’s a thousand euro less. But that was a dramatic example, of a very expensive hotel. For real deals, check out the villas, which are more susceptible to market changes and the owners of which may even be open to negotiating prices down.
2. Maybe you’ve heard the myth that the off-season is hurricane season. Wrong. The off-season begins in April. The hurricane/rainy season begins officially in July but in St. Barth’s it is considered to be only September and October. You’ll have months of beautiful weather.
3. During the off-season, the hotels and restaurants on the island generally recognize a €1 for $1 ratio. Depending on how the dollar is doing in the international markets, this could be an amazing way to save money.

Le Toiny is the hotel of St Barths. With a more discrete location, this property is extreme luxury. A romantic dinner is a must. The perfect honeymoon destination.
